Welcome!
I'm a passionate community leader, a H&S consultant, a freelance media and communications professional with a heart for bringing people together. As a Councillor in Hillingdon and a finalist of the British Sikh Woman of the Year Award, I'm dedicated to amplifying diverse voices and creating positive change. My journey has taken me from newsrooms to classrooms, and from radio stations to council chambers – each step fueling my commitment to building stronger, more connected communities. I am a firm believer and advocate of the fact that
humanity must consciously shift from 'tolerance' to 'acceptance' if we are to achieve world peace.
Love,

I am a councillor from Wood End ward, Hayes, in London Borough of Hillingdon, where the Labour Party is in the Opposition. In two short years, I am proud to not only have been able to raise all major concerns of my residents regarding housing, libraries, budget, heritage buildings in council Chamber but have also been able to successfully push for policy change around geographical parity in the way Council engages with its diverse communities. Besides scrutiny committees, I regularly attend the police and health panels. I have also helped set up first residents' association in my ward. Recommendations put forward by me on road safety initiatives around school were recommended to the Cabinet by the Property, Highways and Transport select committee. I continue to work with residents around all areas of concern, including ASB.
